HOW IT ALL STARTED
2010: The seeds of Small Changes were sown back in 2010. Beginning online and then venturing into bricks and mortar, Peadar opened the first Small Changes shop in Gorey, Co. Wexford.
2015:Peadar upped sticks and opened the first Dublin store in Drumcondra. For seven years Peadar and his team grew the business in Dublin 9, where over a quarter of their products are Irish. ‘Like every small business, there have been plenty of ups and downs and the last year has been unlike any other.’
2020:As the first lockdown took hold in March 2020, Peadar had to look at his business and see if he could stay open safely for staff and customers. “Everything changed and there was a lot of uncertainty, and we literally had to change how we worked overnight to keep going.” Small Changes stayed open throughout 2020 and into 2021. “My team were brilliant and our customers were too. “
2021:In April 2021 Small Changes Wholefoods Store opened in Inchicore community – this move solidified the business having its own shop front Emmet Road. Since day one Peadar and his team have been always felt welcome to what is now a very loyal and supportive community of customers and friends
